Forest Camp is Camp Explore’s signature youth program. It is an outdoor program designed for kids, tweens, and teens to spend time in nature—specifically the forest to have fun, connect to themselves, connect with other kids, explore the natural world and to encourage environmental stewardship.
This is a great way for kids to have fun, make new friends, and experience new adventures in a safe and supportive environment.
By being in nature, campers will learn important life skills with methods that are collaborative, profoundly enriching and fun while breathing in fresh air!
TEENS can upgrade to the Premium Track: A 7 Habits Experiential Camp. This can teach them critical life skills, boost self-confidence, build meaningfulrelationships, prepare for the future, and be guided by experienced facilitators.
At Camp, fun is spelled as F-U-N-N which stands for Fundamental Understanding Not Needed. Campers are encouraged to be curious, ask questions, to play, and be themselves.
Mindfulness, movement and music activities will allow campers to become more aware of their own emotions and perspectives, and how those can influence the decisions they make.
Camp provides a chance for kids to develop independence and self-confidence as they learn to navigate new environments and situations.
By observing and engaging in in-person conversations, campers will discover the concept of interconnectedness—how their actions can have an impact on their environment, and on the lives of those around them.
Campers being the future generations, we aim to give them experiences through structured learning exercises that would allow them to appreciate nature, make choices, and be proactive in reducing waste, recycling, and conserving energy.
Spotting and claiming our talents can lead to a sense of personal fulfillment, satisfaction, happiness, and enhanced wellbeing. When campers feel better, engaged, and motivated, they perform better and they grow into well-rounded individuals who can achieve their full potential.
